Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 26, 2026.

Anacapa Commerce LLC, doing business as The AMZ Specialist (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates theamzspecialist.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information through this website and our Amazon advertising services.

Information We Collect

When you contact us or submit a service inquiry, we collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, company or brand, Amazon storefront or ASIN, service interest, advertising-spend range, and message. The website uses WPForms for contact, inquiry, and other service forms.

If you join AMZ Specialist Access, we maintain information needed to create and administer your account and membership through Paid Memberships Pro. This may include contact details, membership level and status, billing history, Advisory Review requests, and materials you submit for review. Please do not submit Amazon passwords, payment-card information, or personal information unnecessary for your request.

For memberships and self-purchase services, Stripe processes payments. We receive information needed to administer a purchase, such as the amount, payment status, and transaction record. Payment-card details entered into Stripe’s payment interface are processed by Stripe.

The site also receives technical information associated with visits and use, which may include IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and interactions with the site. Public contact and checkout forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated traffic; Turnstile evaluates browser interactions and technical signals for form security. Certain WordPress login, registration, password-reset, and comment-related forms may use Google reCAPTCHA for security. Google reCAPTCHA is not used on the Contact form.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries; provide purchased services and Advisory Reviews; manage accounts, memberships, payments, and support; operate and protect the site; understand how visitors use it; and maintain records needed for business, security, or legal purposes.

Analytics, Cookies, and Consent

The site uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand website use. Clarity may provide information about page interactions and sessions. WPConsent supplies the cookie banner and categories for Essential, Statistics, and Marketing technologies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are listed under Statistics. Essential cookies support core site functions, including remembering cookie preferences.

You can choose optional categories through the banner and reopen your choices with the persistent Cookie Preferences button. WPConsent currently remembers a choice for 30 days. You can also restrict or delete cookies through your browser. When Statistics is declined, the Microsoft Clarity script is blocked. Google’s tag may still load with consent signals set to denied and may perform limited cookieless measurement; declining Statistics does not necessarily prevent every technical request to Google. No Marketing service is currently listed in WPConsent’s configured cookie database.

Sharing and Service Providers

We use providers to operate the website and deliver services, including hosting and email services, Stripe for payments, Google and Microsoft for analytics, and Cloudflare Turnstile and Google reCAPTCHA for the security uses described above. WPForms and Paid Memberships Pro are software used on the site for forms and membership administration; their use does not by itself mean every submission is sent to those vendors. We may disclose information to professional advisers, such as accountants or attorneys, when reasonably necessary, or when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or the operation of our services.

Links to other websites and services are governed by those providers’ own privacy practices.

Retention

We retain inquiry, account, membership, payment, and service records for as long as needed to respond to a request, provide and administer services, maintain appropriate business records, address disputes or security issues, and meet applicable obligations. Retention varies by record type. We have not established one automatic deletion period for all site records. Backup copies may remain for a period after information is removed from active systems.

Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and the law applicable to your information, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or make other privacy requests. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where an exception or obligation applies. To make a request, email laura@theamzspecialist.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe your request. Do not include passwords or payment-card information.

Security and Changes

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no website, email system, or electronic storage method is completely secure. We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The published version will show its effective date.
